Version: 3 October 2026
1. Scope
These Software Licence Terms apply when PluginPip Ltd supplies software, themes, plugins, extensions, developer tools or other licensed digital products. The relevant product page, order and plan may add product-specific limits or entitlements.
2. Licence grant
Subject to payment and compliance with these terms, PluginPip grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive right to install and use the software for the number and type of installations, users, sites, devices, organisations or other units included in the purchased plan.
The licence is not a transfer of ownership. Unless the product expressly says otherwise, the licence may not be resold, sublicensed, rented, shared as a standalone product or distributed outside the licensed customer or organisation.
3. Licence credentials and activation
Products using PipKey may require a licence credential or signed entitlement. The credential must be kept private and used only for the purchased product and permitted installations. Activation allowances are enforced according to the plan purchased.
Where deactivation is supported, customers should deactivate software before permanently moving it to another installation. Copying or restoring an installation may affect its activation identity.
4. Permitted use
You may use the software for lawful purposes within the licence scope. Where a theme, framework or developer product expressly includes client-project or distribution rights, those rights are defined on the product page or plan and take priority over the default restriction above.
5. Restrictions
You must not knowingly bypass licence, entitlement, signature or activation controls; publish or share private licence credentials; remove proprietary notices where removal is not permitted; or distribute PluginPip source or binaries except where the purchased plan expressly permits it.
Nothing in these terms prevents activity that applicable law expressly permits despite a contractual restriction.
6. Intellectual property
PluginPip Ltd and its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the software except rights expressly granted under these terms. Open-source or third-party components remain governed by their own licence terms.
7. Updates and versions
Update access depends on the purchased product and plan. A perpetual or lifetime licence, if expressly sold as such, does not automatically promise indefinite hosted services, support or third-party services unless the product plan expressly says so.
PluginPip may withdraw an unsafe, superseded or compromised release and may require a security update where reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service.
8. Support
Support entitlement, hours and scope are those stated for the purchased plan. Support does not include work outside the published or agreed scope unless separately agreed.
9. Suspension and revocation
PluginPip may suspend or revoke a licence where payment is lawfully reversed or refunded, the licence has expired, the customer materially breaches the licence, a credential is compromised, or use creates a material security or abuse risk. Where appropriate, PluginPip will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
10. Termination
When a licence ends, rights to use the software end to the extent specified by the plan and applicable law. Some products may continue to run without updates or hosted features after a subscription ends only where the product plan expressly provides that behaviour.
11. Consumer and statutory rights
These terms do not exclude statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights where digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
12. Warranty and liability
The general PluginPip Terms of Service apply to warranty and liability. Any additional product-specific warranty or service commitment must be stated expressly in the product plan or order.
13. Privacy
Licence administration and activation information is handled as described in the PluginPip Privacy Policy. PipKey is designed to minimise licence and installation information and does not require payment-card details.
14. Governing law
These licence terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
